Obituary of Brian E. Parker

Brian E. Parker, a resident of Pleasant Valley, entered into rest Monday, August 23, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 79.
Son of the late Eugene and Margaret Pfeiffer Parker, he was born November 18, 1941 in Albany, New York. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Prior to his retirement, Brian worked as an electrical engineer at IBM in Poughkeepsie. He was a former member of the Mid Hudson Corvette Club.
Survivors include his brother, Bruce Parker and his wife Cynthia of East Berne, New York; his longtime companion, Marion Paskey of Poughkeepsie; as well as his niece, Christen Parker.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery, South Avenue in Poughkeepsie.
