Obituary of Boyd D. Stevenson
Boyd D. Stevenson, a lifelong resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh after a long battle with cancer. He was 63.
Son of Henry Stevenson and the late Pauline Mary Perrotta Stevenson, he was born March 14, 1958 in Poughkeepsie. Boyd worked as a programmer and in IT with several companies over the years. He was an avid runner and loved the outdoors. Animals also held a special place in his heart.
Survivors include his father, Henry Stevenson of Wappingers Falls; his sisters, Jill Stevenson of Hopewell Junction and Jennifer Longo of New Paltz; his nieces and nephew, Chelsea and Chloe Weintraub and Brett and Cady Longo; as well as his beloved Dalmatian, Ellen.
