Obituary of Marlene Grace Marino

Marlene Grace Marino, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Mid Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She was 72.

Daughter of the late Dominic and Helen Ruf Marino, she was born January 28, 1949 in Poughkeepsie. Marlene worked at the Marriott in Poughkeepsie and co-owned BeaMond Salon with her sister, Evelyn Conners in Wappingers Falls. She liked watching football, especially the Giants. Marlene also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her son, Chad Rossbach and his wife, Lisa of Hyde Park; her sister, Evelyn Conners of Wappingers Falls; her grandsons, Ethan and Brayden Rossbach; her niece, JeriLynn Ludwig; her nephews, Scott Conners and Brian Conners; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Gerry Conners.

Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 27 at the funeral home with Mother Leigh Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, West Main Street in Wappingers Falls.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marlene’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
