Obituary of Elizabeth M. Corrado

Elizabeth M. Loewen Corrado, formerly of Poughkeepsie, passed peacefully at home on November 8, 2015, after a long struggle with Parkinsons Disease. She was 79. Elizabeth, widow of John Corrado, was a long time resident of Poughkeepsie and a retired high school teacher from the Arlington School District. Survivors include her two daughters, Carrie Corrado Perfetto and Kristina Corrado Taylor; three grandchildren, Kym Perfetto, John Perfetto, and Jeffrey Taylor; and a great grandson, Case Perfetto. She is also survived by her sister, Hilda Coords; and many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, following visitation, at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main Street in Poughkeepsie.
