So sorry to hear of Eileen's passing but she is with God now in heaven. I was a recent college grad at IBM in 1981 and she was a leader already in the MVS Device Allocation Team in Poughkeepsie. You could tell she was really smart but her door was always open and she made sure you understood what she was saying or she would adjust to make sure you did. After talking with Eileen you always learned something or she helped you solve your problem. God Bless.

Dear Family:
We send our sincerest condolences on the passing of this great lady. Always there, ready to lend a hand at whatever needed to be done, and her smile put you at ease when attending events. Her tireless energy was always focused on making our Community a better place to live, and her efforts will not soon be forgotten. Being honored as Grand Marshall of the St. Patrick's Day Parade was, according to her, one of the highlights of her life. She leaves behind shoes that will be hard to fill, but for all of us who knew her, we were always brought up to date on what was happening in the town. May the burden of your bereavement be made lighter, knowing others are sharing the load. Rest in Peace, Eileen, you have certainly earned it.

Eileen was such a special person on so many levels. I shared an office with Eileen in my early years at IBM and over the years we worked on a number of different projects together. Eileen always willing shared her vast technical expertise, putting her heart and soul into everything she.undertook. She took me and countless others under her wing. I feel fortunate to have known such an all around awsome person who did so much for others in selfless manor. My sincere condolences to the McDonald family.

Eileen held my hand as I presented at Guide (a user group) for the first time. I walked into a ballroom of 400+ people and I was so nervous to be speaking in front of so many. My voice was cracking as I spoke, I lost my place in the charts, and she covered for me... finally I finished and she handed me a microphone and people started peppering us with questions... What a relief knowing that she had my back! She was the driving force in MVS allocation and Scheduler at the time and I learned so much from her about so many things. She left a legacy in IBM and in MVS that continues to this day! Gary
