You were my sunshine and I will never see you again but I know you are an angel watching over all of us. Your loss, there are no words to describe the pain.
You were a beautiful, graceful and talented tennis athlete so I picked the tennis candle. There are so many other great things about you, always wanting to know more, promoting art from artists, a beautiful smile and soul inside and out. The family misses you now and forever, until we meet again
Love you,
Mommy

I knew Victoria briefly. We were about to begin a project we had talked about by email since early Fall and I was so looking forward to beginning this with her. She was always kind, present, polite and understanding. The world has lost someone special...As I work on this project now, each piece I create is done with her in my thoughts and in my heart. I am so, so sorry...Anna

Ms. Nicodemus,
Victoria and our son RJ attended USD together and dated for a short time. My husband and I were blessed to have met Victoria and welcomed her into our home. She was a beautiful, gentle soul and our lives were enriched by having her cross our paths at that moment in time. May the warm, caring thoughts surrounding you bring you a measure of comfort and may Victoria's memories bring you peace.

My name is Michael Collins. I was one of the first people to arrive at the scene of the accident. I ran over to try and help Ms. Nicodemus, and her friend, but soon realized that it was too late. As a witness to this extremely unfortunate event, I was very disturbed, so I can ONLY IMAGINE how hurt you must be as a family, especially with a daughter of my own, who is almost the same age. Later, I did a little research and found out that Ms. Nicodemus was very accomplished and much loved young lady. I would like to offer my condolences on the loss of a such an intelligent, respected, and wonderful young lady. God bless you.

To the family of Victoria Nicodemus: I met Victoria through my daughter Courtney Shear Lerner who was Victoria's roommate a few years ago when they lived on Halsted Street in Chicago. I remember Victoria as a sweet girl. I also remember on occasion stopping by their apartment to find beautiful baked goods on the kitchen counter that Victoria had baked. I am so very sorry for your loss. Such a tragedy for someone to pass away so early in life.

Dear Elsa, Frankie and Amanda - This is a note I never dreamed I would be writing. Vicki was a sweet, gentle soul. I looked forward to teaching her every week and was thrilled when she was accepted into the college of her choice just as I was overjoyed when Frankie and Amanda were accepted into theirs. I remember those years as if they were yesterday. My heart is broken for your family. I have thought of your family often over the years, and I will keep Vicki in a special place in my memory. Love, Judy McElroy

My deepest sympathy goes out to the friends and family of Victoria. This is a senseless tragedy that has effected all who know her. In a moment, precious lives can be lost. I had the privilege of working with Victoria when she was part of our team at Chicago Art Source. Her creative talent and ability to source artists and art for our clients was perfection. I missed working with her when she left for NY and will always remember Victoria as the benchmark for excellence. Her eternal soul will be bound up in all the hearts she touched.

Mrs. N, Frankie and Amanda,
I can't put into words how bad I feel for all of you. Victoria was a GREAT daughter and sister!! When I first read it, I prayed it was someone who just had the same name but then the news came and I'm heartbroken. All of you have always been a STRONG family and I know you will get through this very difficult time. My prayers are with your family.
