Obituary of Raymond DeGenova
Raymond DeGenova, a four year resident of Clermont, Florida and former longtime Poughkeepsie resident, entered into rest Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the Cornerstone Hospice Home in Clermont, Florida.
Son of the late Frank and Nancy DeGenova, he was born September 2, 1941 in Manhattan. He married the love of his life, the former Patricia Grosso on September 3, 1961 at St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. Mrs. DeGenova survives at home in Clermont, Florida.
Raymond worked as a butcher and owned and operated Kelly's Meat Market in Wappingers Falls for many years.
In addition to his wife of fifty-four years, he is survived by his children, Lisa Roys and her husband, Kevin of Poughkeepsie, Susan Morano and her husband, David of Wappingers Falls and Christopher DeGenova and his husband, Charles Frost of Clermont, Florida; his brother, Gerald DeGenova of Bronxville; his sister, Nancy DeGenova of Yonkers; as well as his four grandchildren, Kristen Roys, Kyle Roys, Samantha Nabais and her husband, Jon-Michael and Timothy Morano.
Family will receive friends on Saturday April 16, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street in Wappingers Falls.
