Obituary of Jennifer Lynn Pinto

Jennifer Lynn Pinto, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Friday, August 26, 2022 at her home. She was 42.

Daughter of Jose C. Pinto and Peggy Rossmann Schink, she was born July 3, 1980 in Mount Kisco. Jen graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls in 1998 and went on to graduate from Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie with a degree in nursing. She worked as registered nurse at Wingate at Ulster in Highland. She was a hard worker and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her mother, Peggy A. Schink and her husband, Stephan of Poughkeepsie; her father, Jose C. Pinto of Wappingers Falls; her son, Ryan Norwood; her brothers, Peter Pinto and his wife, Hope of Wappingers Falls and Nicholas Pinto and his wife, Danielle of Montgomery; her niece and nephews, Luke and Eve, who was her goddaughter, and Miles.

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A brief service and time of remembrance will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
