We are heartbroken to announce that on December 24, 2022, Peter P. Kasper, loving Husband, Father and Papa, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age 81, in the Town of Wappinger, NY. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Peter was preceded in death by his eldest son Kenneth and is survived by his loving wife Eleanor of 56 years; their
children Mark, Peter and Laura; daughters-in-law Yvonne and Amanda; and grandchildren James, Ryan, Jason, Aurora, Jonathan, Emily and Aidan.

Peter was born in Manhattan, NY on September 21, 1941 to Herman and Frieda Kasper. Peter was a generous, hardworking and compassionate soul. He grew up in the Bronx where he worked in the family deli before going into the Army. He left the Army in 1965 and married his wife Eleanor on September 17, 1966. Peter worked as a self-taught diesel truck mechanic until his retirement.

Peter was very friendly and talked to anyone and everyone. He was always willing to help others and had a tool for everything. As a Veteran of the Army, Peter assisted his fellow veterans and advocated for them. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and always remembered in their hearts. We are sincerely grateful to the many friends and family who have given us support and comfort during this time of loss.
