I met Jeff while working at Stop and Shop and quickly became friends. We would go to Pleasant Valley Trout and Game Club to practice target shooting. We always had a great time. Last year Jeff came down to Florida on his way back home from Texas. Spent the day and then went to dinner. I will never forget the great times we had. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I worked with Jeff and actually retired at the same time as he did. We would both count the days until retirement finally happened.we made jokes to each other in passing while we were working,that it just wasn’t going fast enough.I also have known Janet and Jeff since they were married and I also had Janet work with me in the store until she retired.She use to tell people that she was my older sister.She was so funny at work we always had a good time working together. never knew it was the same lady who use to wave to me and say hi she lived across the street from my sister. Both of them were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They both would do anything for you.Jeff and I were always talking to each other since retirement and during this past summer would sit out on my front lawn just enjoying each other’s company and talking about whatever was going on. I’m actually in shock since I just talked to him last Friday. What a great friend he was and such a gentle man.Was always there if I needed anything. He was always there to offer help.So sad that a great guy and friend has been lost. I will definitely miss our talks and relaxing in front of my house. Hope he is at peace and hugging Janet once again. Jeff I’ll definitely miss you. Thank you for your friendship and all you’ve done for me. To his children and family my condolences and prayers. He was such a great guy he didn’t deserve anything he went through but I can say is he was in emotional pain for such a long time after loosing his wonderful wife Janet I know he’s definitely happier now that he’s with his love

I worked with Jeff in Wappingers and Poughkeepsie. He was a great guy super friendly always with a smile for everyone. He came to visit us all the time even after he retired. My condolences to the family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
