David Charles Zammiello, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at his home. He was 75.

Son of the late Raymond J. and Doris Becker Zammiello, he was born December 19, 1947 in Poughkeepsie. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam from 1967 to 1970 when he was honorably discharged.

David owned and operated Zammiello Brothers Contractors. He was a life member of the Neighbors Gun Club and lived for hunting season. David attended Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley.

Survivors include his sisters, Rosemary McKenna and her husband, Ronald and Gail Koener and her husband, George as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Timothy, Frank, Raymond, Jr. and John Zammiello.

Family and friends will gather at 6 p.m.  on Monday, May 1, 2023 at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls for a memorial service. Military Honors will follow.

Interment will be private at Wappingers Rural Cemetery, West Main Street in Wappingers Falls.
