Obituary of Rodrigo Silva

Rodrigo Silva, 54, of Wappingers Falls passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 10th at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. 

Rodrigo is survived by his wife Marinet of 11 years. Along with his three children; Leandro, Eduardo, and Jazmin; and granddaughter Mila. He was loved by many nieces and nephews. 

Born in Mexico, he lived in Wappingers Falls his whole life. Working as a chef for over 30 years at local restaurants including Stefanos and Longobardi’s in Wappingers Falls. Although he didn’t study in school for long he worked hard and finally opened up his dream restaurant in the Town of Catskill, Piccolo Dal Torrente. His famous Italian dishes were loved by many. 

When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed sitting back, relaxing with his family, or taking a glass of wine. His jokes and laughter fillied up any room. His sudden death breaks the hearts of his friends and family.
