David I. Rodriguez, a resident of East Orange, New Jersey, entered into rest Wednesday, January 17, 2024. He was 44.

Son of Ismael Rodriguez and Michelle Ciaccio Ponce, he was born March 2, 1979 in Queens.  David worked for UPS in New Jersey.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Marissa Kadish and her husband, Justin, David Rodriguez and Jocelyn Rodriguez; his siblings, Kim Orton, Ralphie Ponce and Lexus Leon; his grandchildren, Sawyer and Atlas Kadish as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to remember and celebrate David on Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley, 36 Fireman’s Way, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. The Celebration of Life service will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Arrangements are under the direction of Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls.
