Obituary of Donna M. DiMarco

Donna M. DiMarco of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Monday, March 11, 2024 surrounded by her family, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 57.

Daughter of Edwin Niemcyk and the late Rose (Risole) Niemcyk, she was born January 27, 1967 in Wappingers Falls. She met Paul T. DiMarco in 1985 and they were married on October 18, 1997, in Wallkill, NY. Paul and Donna were soulmates who enjoyed 40 years together. They had many wonderful adventures including the creation of a successful ice cream vending business. Chilly Willy’s Ice Cream commenced 26 years ago with one truck and has now expanded to several. Mr. DiMarco survives at home.

Donna was a 1985 graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School. She was extremely active in Miles for Hope, a foundation to support those with breast cancer. Through her own battle she remained strong and emboldened this wonderful organization and even added pink sprinkle to her ice cream truck. Donna and Paul founded The Totally 70’s Radio Network where Donna was the host of Monday Night Love for ten years and had followers from around the globe. She was an extraordinary woman with a kind and loving soul. Her dynamic personality was reflected in her way of living and doing business. Her presence made people happy, and this gave Donna the strength to keep going through the difficult times. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her husband, Paul of Wappingers Falls and her father, Edwin of Lincolnton, NC, she is survived by her brothers, Douglas Niemcyk of Wappingers Falls and Edward Niemcyk of Lincolnton, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held June 30, 2024 at Bowdoin Park, Pavillion 4.
