Dorothy (Dot) Pyle was one of a kind!
She was a wife and a mother who was very proud of her children which she would often share on girls' nights out!
I had the good fortune to have worked with her for many years at Castle Point VA Hospital where she was truly amazing at everything she did.
She was smart, kind, and had the patience of a saint, and was the most caring person - anyone who knew her would agree.
But most of all Dot was a genuine friend to everyone and managed to make time to listen and just be there! I will truly miss her, as will everyone who knew her.

I too was blessed to have had the privilege to have worked with Dottie at Castle Point ....what a delight to see her smiling face...she was always so positive and supportive. She was truly a gift to this world. My condolences to her family.

Dorothy Pyle was one of the finest people I have ever known. I met her almost 40 years ago while working with her at Castle Point. VA Hospital. Dorothy's intellect was inspiring, and our conversations over the years about so many of life's topics was a gift I will treasure always. On days when things were challenging at work, Dorothy could always find a creative solution and provide the humor to help lighten our hearts and our spirits. She loved her family dearly and was immensely proud of each of them. She was always a cheerleader for her grandchildren and glowed when she talked of their accomplishments.
I have been blessed to have Dorothy as a big part of my life. I know she is in the arms of the angels. I will miss you my friend.
