Obituary of Kaitlyn Bower

Kaitlyn Phoenix Bower, a one year resident of Phoenix, Arizona, and former lifelong resident of Dutchess County, New York, entered into eternal rest May 9, 2024. She was 14.

 

Daughter of Amelia Gilli and the late Shane Bower, she was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on September 28, 2009.

 

Kaitlyn is survived by her mother Amelia; brothers, Justin Campbell and Nicholas Bower; sister,

Shannon Bower; aunts, Karen and her partner Patrick Pasquarella, Nora Kotash, Laura Kenney, Sandy Bower, Michelle Alix, and Teri Lynn Diaz; uncles, Joe Gilli, and Roger Bower; cousins, Randy Pasquarella and partner Alexis, Karissa Pasquarella, and Eliana Pasquarella, John Kotash and partner Brittany, Michael Kotash and partner Alexis; and an extended number of first, second, and third cousins.

 

She was predeceased by her father, Shane Bower of Pleasant Valley and her grandmother, Catherine Gilli of Yorktown Heights.

 

Family will receive their friends on Thursday May 30, 2024 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Straub, Catalano, & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday May 31, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 11 Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, West Main Street in Wappingers Falls.

 

Memorial donations may be made in Kaitlyn’s name to any animal charity of choice.
