Obituary of Elvira M. Buttler
Elvira M. Buttler, a resident of the Town of Poughkeepsie, entered into rest at home on July 4, 2024.
She was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia and on December 16, 1967 she married Terry Buttler in Bogota. Terry survives at home.
Elvira has been a resident of Dutchess County since 1968. Prior to her retirement, she taught at schools in the Beacon City School District and at Marist College.
There will be no services.
The family would liek to express their deepest gratitude to Hudson Valley Hospice and Solange of Angels on Call.
