Obituary of Roxanne Wentworth

My mom, Roxanne, 77, was reunited in Heaven with her father, Walter Wentworth and her sister, Holly Wentworth. She lost a very hard fought battle with COPD, congestive heart failure and lung cancer.  She was a very strong woman before she got sick.

Mom was born on May 26, 1947 and passed away on September 20, 2024. She was a keyboard specialist 2 for Green Haven and Downstate Correctional Facility until she retired. She liked to play on slot machines, scratch off lotto tickets and solve crossword puzzles. We played Jeopardy! 5 nights a week. 

Surviving at home is her daughter, Lori, who will miss her very much; and her many long time friends.

ALL OF HER DOCTORS AND NURSES, HUDSON VALLEY HOSPICE, TO EVERYONE AT STRAUB, CATALANO, HALVEY FUNERAL HOME (EXTRA THANKS TO KRISTIN), AND TO POUGHKEEPSIE RURAL CEMETERY FOR CREMATION AS HER FINAL WISH. WE APPRECIATE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.
