I just found out about the departure of Rafik (RIP). I was with Rafik in StJoseph school in Cairo Egypt for 3years from 1948 to 1951 . We did our first communion together. We share many happy moments playing together . We both have the same first name Rafik. We met briefly again in Beyrouth , Lebanon in 1963. Rafik (RIP) once send me a picture of us in kindergarten . Unfortunately I lost it. Would any one be kind enough to send me another one.I will pray for Rafik to rest in peace near God with the angels.

We were shocked and saddened to hear about Rafik. Sally, out of nowhere, asked whatever happened to the Habras? A Google search led me to the recent sad news. May God bless the family...

Dear Karen, Elise, Christine and family, we are so sorry to hear about Rafik's passing. You all were great neighbors in the Pineridge Dr. / Dorothy Lane area. Rafik was a wonderful co-worker and was well respected in his work by all his colleagues in Poughkeepsie IBM. He was missed when you all moved to CA. God bless you and give you His peace in this very difficult time.

Dear Karen, Elise, Christine and the Habra relatives,
I was very fortunate to know Rafik from childhood at the College de la Sainte Famille in Heliopolis. After many years, through the help of the internet, I managed to locate Rafik in the Fall of 2005 and got excited to organize a reunion in June 2006. Just as I located Alfred Chakour and with both of Rafik's and Alfred's encouragement and moral support, I found several and we met at Mont La Salle in June of 2006. It was a memorable and unforgettable reunion.
Rafik was a dear and close friend who was irreplaceable. His passing was a shock and he will always be in my prayers and in my thoughts. I know he is in a better place where he feels no pain. He had contributed much and what stands out is his union with his love of life Karen and the bringing up of two beautiful daughters Elise and Christine. What a blessing!
I was blessed too to have had him as a dear friend.
God bless his soul! God bless Karen, Elise and Christine and give them comfort.
