Obituary of DeVere Pyatt

DeVere Pyatt of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Hudson Valley Hospice House in Hyde Park, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born on April 16, 1956 in Ticonderoga, NY, DeVere moved to Dutchess County in 1987 to be closer to her love, Steve. DeVere and Steve were later married in 2008 and enjoyed a wonderful life together.

The family would like to thank Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Dyson Center and Hudson Valley Hospice for their care and compassion for DeVere during her illness.

Family will receive their friends on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street in Wappingers Falls. A funeral service will take place during visitation at 4:30 p.m.
