Obituary of Ann M. Ruseskas

Ann M. Ruseskas, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Saturday, October 12, 2024 at her home. She was 89.

Daughter of the late Hugh and Claire Brennan Styborski, she was born April 2, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.  On June 24, 1958, she married Louis Ruseskas. Mr. Ruseskas preceded her in death on November 29, 1990.

Ann took care of the home and raising her four sons. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and gardening. She was an avid sports fan, often calling to discuss the games.

Survivors include her sons, Louis Ruseskas and his wife, Patricia of Poughkeepsie, John Ruseskas and his wife, Grace of Beacon, Michael Ruseskas and his wife Erika of White Plains and Dan Ruseskas and his partner, Carmella Gambino of Poughkeepsie; her grandchildren, Kelly, Stephen, Jacqulyne, Taylor and Katrina;  and her great-grandchildren, Kayden, Michael and Elliott.

The family wishes to thank Warren for his kindness, compassion and care of his neighbor.

Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street in Wappingers Falls.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 17 at St. Mary’s Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Route 9 in Fishkill.
