It is with great sadness that the Kreuzer family announces the passing of Edward John Kreuzer (affectionately known as Eddie or Ed) of Poughquag, New York on October 18, 2024 at the age of 80. Ed was born on July 4, 1944 in the Bronx, New York to John Kreuzer and Eleanor Kreuzer (nee DiMattia). Ed’s unexpected passing comes as a shock to his family and friends, as he lived his life with such vibrance and passion.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Marie; sisters Chris Radesca and Janet Nash; brothers-in-law Anthony Radesca and Tony Nash; sisters-in-law Jane Puzio and Patricia Barca; nieces and nephews Kristin Radesca, Susan Gasparini, Frank Schiavo, Michael Schiavo, Joey Puzio, and Debbie Altamura, as well as much loved great-nieces and great-nephews.

Ed met the love of his life and beloved wife of 59 years, Marie Kreuzer (nee Ferguson) in high school. They dated for 2.5 years and married on July 3, 1965.

Ed worked as a Vice President for Brainin Advance Industries in Attleborough, Massachusetts. In 1996, he was transferred to Brainin Deer Park Die & Stamping Division as Vice President and General Manager in Fairfield, Ohio. He retired in 2008 after 26 distinguished years of service to the company.

Ed was known for his kindness and jovial demeanor, as well as his love and support of family and friends. He was a voracious reader and exhibited a thirst for knowledge. He eagerly studied Civil War and World War II history. He also enjoyed mystery and spy novels. He was perpetually acquiring new skills such as clock making, furniture, dollhouse, and model ship building, and restoring British Triumph sports cars. He was active throughout his life from baseball to bowling to golf. He was passionate about the outdoors and spent many summers camping, fishing, and traveling with his beloved wife, Marie.
