Obituary of Gregory C. Censullo
Gregory Charles Censullo left us on December 8th, 2024 at the age of 52. He was born on October 24th, 1972 the son of Charles Censullo and Shirley Jubinsky. He was a 1990 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School and Dutchess Community College, and also attended Marist College. He was a proud member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, including work on the new Tappan Zee bridge. He was currently happily employed by MJD Construction.
Greg was a devoted and loving father, son, husband, and friend who found joy and peace as an avid fisherman, spending countless cherished moments on the water, especially with his friends. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family at his favorite vacation spot, Long Beach Island. He and his lifetime friend Dan Scharff learned at an early age how to get into and out of trouble, and take apart and rebuild just about anything. He was also a BIG time Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan. Greg was always there for anyone, young or old, who needed him.
He is survived by his loving wife Lisa, daughter Shaolin and son-in-law Andrew Truett, son Joseph (fiancé Shelby), son Dominic, mother Shirley Jubinsky, father Joseph Jubinsky, brother Michael DiVitto, mother-in-law Connie Chiappetta, step-mother Susan Censullo, uncles and aunts Tom and Naomi Petrosky, Ted and Rosemary Jadick, Bill and Barbara Ponte, cousin Andrea Benza, lifelong friend Dan Scharff, and many, many, many friends.
He was predeceased by his father Charles Censullo, and paternal and maternal grandparents and friends, and his good buddy Atlas.
