Obituary of Edgar Ramos
Edgar Ramos entered into the presence of the Lord on December 17, 2024 at the age of 60. Edgar was a faithful servant of the Lord. He loved to find anyway he could be of service for the kingdom of God.
Edgar was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on November 13, 1964. He was raised in the Bronx, where he met the love of his life Ruth, his high school sweetheart. It was love at first sight when he laid eyes on her. Starting a family at a young age he decided to give his family the best life. He proudly joined the U.S. Air Force as a jet engine mechanic. He was proud to serve his country and was a true patriot. After serving he became a UPS driver and retired proudly.
All that knew him, knew he was a family man. He adored his children, Christina (Nick), Tony (Brooke), and Bianca (Taylor). It brought him much joy to be a Papa to his grandchildren Viviana, Jaxson, Natalia and Elias. He was known to be spontaneous and loved adventure and making fun memories with the family. He was king of dad jokes, funny one liners and the best sense of humor. He was extremely generous and would make sure everyone was taken care of. He always wanted the family to spend time together, whether it was at a gathering, going out to eat, camping, enjoying a football game (go Jets), or a baseball game (let’s go Mets!).
Most importantly he always instilled to his family above all things to put God first in everything. He leaves behind a legacy of love, family and beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.
