Robert J. Broughton Obituary
Robert J. Broughton, a 23 year resident of Dutchess County and formerly of Yonkers, entered into rest Friday, January 17, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 58.
Son of Eugene and Helen (Kuchman) Broughton, he was born on February 1, 1966 in Yonkers. He worked for many years as an underground technician for Con Edison in Yonkers. In his spare time he was an avid golfer, enjoying membership at Dogwood Knolls Golf Course. He also enjoyed fishing. Most of all, Robert cherished his time spent with his grandkids; he never missed a game, a performance or a chance to celebrate them.
Survivors include his daughter, Jodie Vega (Sergio); son, Philip Soto; grandchildren, Kaila McLaughlin and Jaxon Vega; sister, Maureen Witkiewicz; and brother, Eugene Broughton.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, John Broughton, and sister, Stephanie Barnes.
