Almando Rodriguez, a 21 and a half year resident of LaGrange, entered into rest Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was 61. 

Born on September 1, 1963 in Brooklyn, he was the son of Armando and Virginia (Soto) Rodriguez. He enjoyed a 35 year career with Con Edison in the Bronx, until his retirement in January 2024. During his tenure he received an award for Safety Excellence. In his free time, he was a car enthusiast and was very interested in advancements in technology.

Almando Rodriguez, beloved husband, father, and friend, was married to Annie Romero for 27 wonderful years. As a father, Almando was incredibly proud of his two daughters, Vanessa Rodriguez and Michelle Rodriguez. Together with Annie, Almando raised his daughters with unconditional love, instilling in them strong values, a sense of self-worth, and the confidence to pursue their passions.

Almando will always be remembered for his kindness, patience, and his compassionate heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration that will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Family will receive their friends on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A memorial service will be held at the close of visitation at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
