Obituary of Robert G. Brubacher

Robert G. Brubacher, Sr., a resident of Wappingers Falls, died on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 67. Son of the late George and Helen Brubacher, he was born January 24, 1949 in Yonkers. He married his wife, DeeDee in 1988. He was a graduate of Saunders High School and went on to work for Local 21 Plumbers and Steamfitters for 38 years. He was a dedicated and caring man that would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed his purple Harley Davidson, fishing, his cameras, animals, and making people laugh. He had a huge impact on many people's lives and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his wife, DeeDee; his children, Robert Brubacher, Jr. and his wife, Kim, Jason Brubacher, Ryan Brubacher and Kelly Brubacher; his sister, Debbie Breese and her husband, Joseph; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him very much. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Raymond Brubacher and his wife, Lynne. In keeping with his wishes, no services are planned.
