Obituary of Margaret Rose Ehleider

Margaret Rose Ehleider, a resident of Rhinebeck and formerly of Stanfordville and Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Saturday, December 24, 2016 at Archcare at Ferncliff. She was 76. Daughter of the late Everett G. and Rose H. Beck Plog, she was born June 17, 1940 in Poughkeepsie. She was a graduate of Poughkeepsie High School in 1959. On October 2, 1970 she married John T. Ehleider in Poughkeepsie. Mr. Ehleider preceded her in death on January 28, 1988. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper at Marine Midland Bank in Poughkeepsie. She was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Salt Point Turnpike in Poughkeepsie.
