To Marilyn, Carey, Bitzy and Robert and Bill,
I'm staring at Danny's picture here. It's been a long time since I have seen him or talked to him, for sure. But I will never forget him. I think the VERY first time I ever came to your house way back when, he answered the door and said something like "hey who are you?" It was a bit funny and intimidating at the time, so I guess that is why I remember still.
Bill tells me that Danny grew up to be a really good man, with a really nice family. I missed that, of course, and wish I could have seen more of that first hand. But it is wonderful to think about and remember.
As you know from my little life story, there is not much rhyme or reason to things, and this seems to be just another example of that. It makes no sense, and I don't imagine it ever will. So, certainly I am very sorry for your loss. Don't try to make sense of it. Be glad and happy for having Danny in your life as long as he was.

My brother Dan was the center of our family.
He gave his love and heart to all of us.
Dan was a second father to my daughter Madeleine; of which I will be forever grateful.
Mom just said last weekend, "Dan is so so funny". He lit up any place he was. Dan loved his wife Carol and his two beautiful daughter's Arianna & Danielle unconditionally and with pure light.
Thank you Dan, for being my brother and teaching me how to love and to be brave.
I will miss you every second of everyday.
Love,
Bitzy
