Van, Julie and I were so sorry to learn of Rick;s death. We are in Florida, and received notice via the prayer chain. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family, as we, too, have difficulty accepting this news. We also hope and wish that all affairs and concerns proceed painlessly. Dear Van, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your son! I know this was a terrible shock for you and those close to him. How sad to have lost him so young. I have told my Mother (Suzanne Stringham Whitmire) and printed out the obit to show her, and I am sure she would also want to also extend her sympathies to you. She remembered NOT meeting him at the Family reunion because he was out in the boat all the time! How quickly life happens!
