I was a good friend of Don and his parents for many, many years going back to Union Endicott High School in the early 1950's. He was a great friend and will be missed by all who came in contact with him over the years.

I had the honor of umpiring baseball with Don for many years. I learned a lot from him, he was a credit to the profession, and always conducted himself with great class. Many umpires have expressed similar thoughts in the last few days.

A great official in many sports. I was glad to have umpired with him in baseball at various levels. An Ivy graduate. He had a wonderful wife and great children. I liked him very much . I pray for him, his wife and family.
