Obituary of MaryAnn Bonini

MaryAnn Bonini of Poughkeepsie entered into rest Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 66. Daughter of the late Angelo and Rose Donniaquo Pacella, she was born on January 11, 1951 in the Bronx. MaryAnn graduated with a bachelor's degree from Marist College. She worked as a paralegal for 18 years for Legal Services of the Hudson Valley in Poughkeepsie. MaryAnn enjoyed reading and was an amazing cook. She was full of compassion with a heart of gold, and would lend a hand to anyone in need. Most important were her children and grandchildren. Her family was her life and she loved spending every free moment with them. Survivors include her husband, James Gaches of Poughkeepsie; children, Christy Bonini of Hyde Park, Jason Bonini and his wife, April of Poughkeepsie, Elisa Bonini of Poughkeepsie, Tiffany Bonini and her companion, Rich Guarnieri of Poughkeepsie, Adam Bonini and his wife, Danielle of Wappingers Falls and Gina Zullo and her companion, Pier DiCamillo of Poughkeepsie; sisters, Carol Pacella of Tennessee and Angela Bellino and her husband, Billy of Bronxville; and eleven beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Richie Bonini and her brother, Joseph Pacella. Family will receive their friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. at Poughkeepsie Rural Community Mausoleum, South Road in Poughkeepsie. Entombment will follow.
