Oh behalf of all who knew Connie through her sweet online game (started to share with her grandchildren and carried on in part because of the caring friendships started through it), our condolences on your great loss of such a bright light. I will always remember my first connection with Connie when I had moved to the Hudson Valley and had questions about shade gardens. As a new Master Gardener I had asked her for some advice and she very kindly invited me to her house and showed me her lovely gardens. She took great pride in them and they truly were beautiful. She will be missed.

We met singing in the Alto section of the Camerata Chorale, and have remained close, caring friends every since that day over 25 years ago. My condolences to all of Connie's family. It was a pleasure to work with her as a Master Gardener. She will be missed by all of us. Her knowledge was incredible and we all learned so much from her. From her in her determination to keep on living, we all learned how to do it with grace. I will always cherish the plants she gave me from her gardens.
