Obituary of Mary Lattanzio

Mary Lattanzio, 92, died peacefully surrounded by her family on June 9, 2014. She was born on July 4, 1921 in New York City and spent some of her early years living in Italy. In 1946, she married Frank Lattanzio and lived in Wappinger Falls where they raised their three children. In addition to being wife and mother, Mary also worked at IBM where she retired after 25 years. During her career, she received numerous merit awards for laboratory production improvements. She is survived by her three children, Frank Lattanzio, Anthony Lattanzio and Linda Ianello-DeBrocky; her daughter-in-law, Pamela Lattanzio and son-in-law, William DeBrocky; and her grandchildren, Michael, Christopher and Victoria Lattanzio, all of Fishkill. Mary also enjoyed her extended family of two grandchildren, Bill DeBrocky and Suzanne Anselment; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1992. Family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Straub Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls.
