Obituary of Nicholas P. Cole

Nicholas P. Cole, 24, an area resident since 1993, died on December 4, 2017 in Poughkeepsie. Born on May 27, 1993, he was the son of William and Tracy Cole. He is survived by his father, William H. Cole of Troy, NY; his brother, William R. Cole of Poughkeepsie; his maternal grandmother, Margaret Birritella of Ossining, NY; his paternal grandparents, Jean and Robert Cole of Wappingers Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Tracy earlier this year. Taken too soon from his loved ones, Nick was a gentle, kind person who will be greatly missed and remembered for his big heart and loving nature. He was an avid sports fan, and played hockey throughout all of his school years. The family has requested private funeral arrangements. Interment will be in Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill.
