I was so sorry to read about your father's death. He was such a nice man and must have been a great dad. When he spoke of you we could see how much pride and love he had for his children. We met him through your mother. Nancy, my husband Jim (he died in 2016) and I were friends in high school. Nancy and I had so much fun during those years. My family and I lived in Africa for years. When we returned we met your mom (and dad) again at Marist basketball games. Then one of the best reunions, our 50th, that Nancy worked so hard on..very successfully. You will miss them forever but they will always be with you.
I'm sure you have Wonderful memories.

To the family of Mr. Donohue, especially Hope and Ned:
I was very sorry to hear of the passing of your father/loved one. I had the privilege of getting to know him while being a nurse to his wife Nancy almost 2 years ago. I found Mr. Donohue to be a kind, caring, solicitous man who would do anything for a person. He will certainly be missed. Please accept my condolences at this time of loss...

Ed was a wonderful colleague, When I first started at Marist he made me feel very welcome and valued. I appreciated his kindness and counsel. When he retired, I missed him, but hoped he was having a wonderful retirement. We were very lucky to have Ed at Marist.

Dr. Donohue was one of my favorite professors at Marist. I learned so much from his Philosophy and Ethics classes. So intelligent and also incredibly funny! He would have us in stitches every class. He will be sorely missed....
