Obituary of Beverly J. Edwards

Beverly J. Edwards, a longtime resident of Beacon, entered into rest Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home. She was 74. Daughter of the late Evelyn T. Edwards, she was born September 9, 1943 in the Bronx. She was proud of working as a model for John Robert Powers in her younger years. She retired from working at Indian Point. Survivors include her sister, Marsha O'Neill of Wappingers Falls; her nieces, Christa O'Neill and her husband Daniel Valenzuela and Andrea O'Neill and her husband, Damien Gregory; as well as her ten grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Leah, Ariella, Aaron, Daphne, Benjamin, John, Adam, Noah, Chase and Sam. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at St. Mary's Church, 11 Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Wappingers Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Sparrow's Nest, 946 Route 376, Suite 7, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
