Obituary of Harry P. Brooks II

Harry P. Brooks, II, a forty-six year resident of Wappingers Falls, passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2018 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was 74. Son of the late Harry Brooks and Christine Huber, he was born May 16, 1943 in Bronx, New York. Harry was a 1961 graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School and worked as a graphic artist/package designer. On March 8, 1969 he married Elaine Wetzel, who predeceased him in 2009. Survivors include his daughter, Lauren Brooks-Kerzner and her husband, Gregory of Red Hook, NY; his son, Carlton Brooks and his wife, Mary-Ellin of Albuquerque, NM; his son, Steven Brooks and his wife, Sarah of Littleton, CO; and his six grandchildren: Karl and Madeline Kerzner, Andrew and Stephanie Brooks, and Megan and Brenna Brooks. There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held followed by interment at Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
