Obituary of Alexander Jack
Alexander "Sandy" Jack of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was 66.
Son of the late Robert and Veronica Reimuth Jack, he was born on April 13, 1952 in Rhinebeck. He graduated from Rhinebeck High School, where he was a soccer star. After high school, Sandy played semi-professional soccer into his 30's. He went on to work as a sheet metal worker and welder for many years.
Sandy was an avid boater and fisherman; he loved anything on water. He enjoyed restoring MOPAR and following NASCAR. He was also a New York Giants enthusiast and an intense history buff. Sandy knew how to cook a good meal: mac & cheese, shrimp scampi and Yorkshire pudding, to name a few. He always had a smile on his face when he had a wrench in his hand. Sandy was a quiet man, but he loved his family and would help anyone he could.
Survivors include his spouse, Karen Adorno; children, Brian Jack and his wife, Tara, Nathan Jack and his wife, Kendra, Alexis Jack, and Lee Jack; siblings, Georgianna Arnesen, Patricia Jack, Timothy Jack, and Leo Jack; mother-in-law, Shirley Saunders; grandchildren, Ava, Dylan, Cole, Owen, Madison, Cameron (CJ), Angela, Alisha, Elizabeth, Daviann, Bryson, Destiny, Gianna, Ashlee, and Briana; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert Jack, and his granddaughter, Chelsea.
