Obituary of Frederick J. Dimarco

Frederick J. DiMarco Frederick J. DiMarco of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Friday, July 22, 2005 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. He was 74. Son of the late Corinto and Marianne Tontodonato DiMarco, he was born on December 4, 1930 in Wappingers Falls. He wed MaryJane Dangerfield on April 25, 1953 at St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. They remained happily married for 52 years. Mr. DiMarco served his country in the United States Armed Forces from 1952-1954, fighting in the Korean War. Frederick worked for many years as an engineer for IBM in Poughkeepsie. In his free time he enjoyed golfing and motorcycles. He also spent time as a ski patrolman for Windham Mountain. In addition to his wife MaryJane at home, Frederick is survived by his two sons, Paul Thomas DiMarco and his wife, Donna, of LaGrange and Michael Gerard DiMarco and his wife, Theresa, of Spangdalhem Air Force Base in Germany; his sister, Deanna Hoffman of Fairfield, Connecticut; grandchildren, Nicholas and Matthew DiMarco; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Rachel Taylor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street in Fishkill. Entombment will follow in the Fishkill Rural Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Frederick's name to the Dutchess County SPCA, 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538.
