Obituary of Marjorie H. Wenzowitz

Marjorie Wenzowitz Marjorie Wenzowitz, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest, Thursday, January 26, 2006 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 98. Daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine Coons Scofield, she was born December 12, 1907 in Wappingers Falls. She married Emil John Wenzowitz, Sr. on May 26, 1928 in Wappingers Falls. Mr. Wenzowitz preceded her in death on January 23, 1963. Mrs. Wenzowitz was a homemaker, taking care of her family and home. She also enjoyed reading. She is survived by her son, Ronald Wenzowitz of Wappingers Falls; her grandsons, Robert Wenzowitz and his wife, Arlene and Randy Wenzowitz and his wife, Debra; her great-grandson, David; step-great-granddaughter, Noel; and her two nieces, Marjorie Zysk and Marlene Reilly. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Emil John Wenzowitz, Jr. on October 1, 1967; her sisters, Elizabeth Kniffen, Jessie Temple and Viola Hindle and her brother, Frederick Scofield. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Wappingers Rural Cemetery, Wappingers Falls at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Straub Funeral Home, 55 E.
