Loretta Slinskey




Loretta Slinskey, a lifelong Beacon resident, entered into rest Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at Hudson Haven Care Center, Wappingers Falls. She was 90.



Daughter of the late Michael and Edna Crusie Seeley, she was born March 14, 1915 in Beacon.



She married Michael Slinskey on February 14, 1931 in St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon. Mr. Slinskey preceded her in death May 13, 1980.



She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.



Loretta is survived by her son, Michael Slinskey of Beacon; her daughter, Sophie Carmalitano of Beacon; her brother Michael Slinskey of Walden; her nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; as well as a very loving circle of friends that she loved deeply.



In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Robert and Joseph Slinskey and her sister Helen Mattracion.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Friday, October 21, 2005 at St. John the Evangelist, Willow Street, Beacon.



Interment of Ashes will follow in the family plot of St. Joachim's Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon.
