Obituary of Patricia McCormack Cortellino

Patricia McCormack Cortellino Patricia Cortellino a resident of the Town of Wappinger, entered into rest Thursday, August 4, 2005 at her home. She was 78. Daughter of the late Frank and Frances Regan McCormack, she was born March 21, 1927 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She married Charles A. Cortellino. Mr. Cortellino survives at home. Mrs. Cortellino was a teacher for many years at John Jay High School prior to her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Wappingers Falls, a member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Queen of Peace # 1534, Wappingers Falls, a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and a member of the 9 Hole Golf League. In addition to her husband, Charles A. Cortellino at home, she is survived by her nieces, Lori Murray and Lynne Allen. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Joan Lyons. Family will receive their friends on Sunday, August 7, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Straub Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patricia's name to the American Cancer Society, 45 Reade Place, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
