Obituary of Cathy M. Pomarico

Cathy M. Pomarico Cathy M. Pomarico, a longtime Beacon resident, entered into rest on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at her home in Beacon. She was 50. Daughter of the late Francis and Catherine Farley Chiappardi, she was born April 26, 1955 in Mineola, New York. Cathy was employed as an artist at Tallix, Beacon and Polish Artworks, Rock Tavern. Most recently she was employed at The Gap Warehouse, Fishkill. Cathy is survived by her husband, Anthony J. Pomarico at home in Beacon; her two children, her son, Nicholas and daughter, Ashley; her brother Vincent Chiappardi; her sisters, Gail Buccellatto, Claudia Chiappardi, Lisa Chiappardi, Patricia Fenton and Janet Olson; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Wednesday, August 24 at St. John the Evangelist, Willow Street, Beacon. Interment will be in the family plot in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon at the convenience of the family.
