Obituary of Kenneth C. Klein

Kenneth C. Klein Kenneth C. Klein of Wappingers Falls entered into rest Friday, February 24, 2006 at Castlepoint VAMC in Beacon. He was 71. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gustav Klein, he was born on February 27, 1934 in Burlington, Vermont. He married the former Adele Morra on January 24, 1976 in New Rochelle; she survives at home in Wappingers Falls. Kenneth very proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War, receiving many decorations and commendations. He then went on to work as a general contractor. Later, he worked for Marciano Oil in Tuckahoe. Kenneth belonged to many organizations throughout his life such as the Knights of Columbus, Elks BPOE and American Legion, in both New Rochelle and Wappingers Falls. Besides his loving wife, Adele at home, he is survived by his step-daughter, Maria Miller and her husband, Jeffrey of Wappingers Falls; his brothers, Ronnie, Roy and Billy Klein; his sisters, Jane, Beverly and Anna; grandchildren, Tanya, Rachel and Lauren; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive their friends on Sunday, February 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, February 27 at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Clinton Street in Wappingers Falls, with military honors following.
