Joyce E. Breuer

Joyce E. Breuer, 75, a longtime resident of Wappingers Falls, died Sunday, April 23, 2006 at her home.

Born November 2, 1930 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rosina Rongelli Padworski. On June 21, 1951 in Poughkeepsie, she married Clifford Breuer. Mr. Breuer preceded her in death, September 14, 1996.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed at MidHudson Workshop for the Disabled in Poughkeepsie.

Joyce is survived by her son, Clifford Breuer and his wife, Theresa of Beekman; her daughter, Linda Flynn and her husband, Fred of Florida, New York; her brother, Thomas Padworski and his wife, Grace of Wappingers Falls; her sisters, Gladys Piccone of Churubusco, New York and Rosina Lindner and her husband, Albert of Beacon; her grandchildren, Brenda, Jennifer, David, Clifford, Thomas, Joshua, Kathryn, Robert and Zoe; and her great-grandchildren, Joey, Alana, Brittany, Corbin, Gage and Emily.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Suzanne Breuer; her sisters, Beatrice Day and Marion Simpson and her brother, Robert Padworski.

Family will receive their friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Straub Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls.
