Obituary of Olive Mae Gearhart

Olive Mae Gearhart Olive Mae Gearhart of the Town of Poughkeepsie entered into rest Saturday June 24, 2006 at her residence, She was 91. Daughter of the late Clarence and Esther Laquer Hulse she was born on June 10, 1915 in Middletown, NY . She married William P. Gearhart on August 7, 1948 in Ashland, Pa. He predeceased he r on May 20, 1984. Mrs. Gearhart was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Wappingers Falls and Club 62 in Poughkeepsie. Survivors include her children David Gearhart and his wife Carol , Susan Gee and her husband George, and Carol Gruendle and her husband Jerry all of Poughkeepsie; her bother Charles "Gilbert" Hulse and his wife Esther of Newburgh, NY and her grandchildren Bill Gearhart, Kim Browne, Kristen Gruendle, Stacey Gee and Ryan Gee. Family will receive their friends on Monday June 26 from 6-8 P.M. at Straub Funeral Home,55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY 12590 A Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday June 27 at 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
