Obituary of Joseph Vincent Lauria

Joseph Vincent Lauria, III Joseph Vincent Lauria, III, 61, of Wappingers Falls and formerly of Katonah passed away on July 24, 2006. The world lost a generous, big hearted person. Son of Frances Lauria and the late Joseph Lauria, he was born September 15, 1944 in Yonkers. Joe grew up in Katonah and later attended John Jay High School. Joe served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era and went on to spend his life always helping people. Survivors include his beloved mother, Frances Lauria; his beloved brothers, Robert and Richard Lauria; his beloved sister, Angela Lowman; his sister in laws, MaryPat and Patricia Lauria; his brother in law, Scott Lowman; and his dear nieces and nephews, Andrew, Courtney, Robert, Michelle, Claire, David and Kaitlin. His love of animals was exhibited by the love and attention he gave his dog Woody and his birds Tweetey and Petey. **Memorial Service Update**A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10 am on Saturday, August 12, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1377 East Main Street, Shrub Oak, NY 10588. Interment will follow in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Straub Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls.
