Obituary of Jean B. Keller

Jean B. Keller Jean B. Keller, a resident of Delhi and formerly of Wappingers Falls, Port Henry and Ticonderoga, entered into rest Saturday, September 16, 2006 at Delaware County Countryside Care Center. She was 77. Daughter of the late Raymond and Rosemary Walsh Wiley, she was born March 23, 1929 in Schenectedy, New York. Jean married Donald J. Keller on September 23, 1951 at St. Mary's Church in Ticonderoga. Mr. Keller preceded her in death on July 20, 1996. She attended Vassar Brothers Hospital Nursing School where upon graduation she became a registered nurse. She was a member of the Alumni Association of Vassar Hospital Nursing School as well as a member of the Roosevelt Fire Co., Aux. #3 in Hyde Park. Jean is survived by her daughter, Arden M. Keller-Commandeur of Delhi; her four sons, D. Scott Keller of New York City, Marc A. Keller and his wife, Debi of Poughkeepsie, David J. Keller of Wappingers Falls, and Steven B. Keller and his wife, Kristen of Poughkeepsie; four grandchildren, Mallory, Maxwell, Alyssa and Margaret and one niece, Debbie Keltos. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Janet Cruger. Family will receive their friends on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Straub Funeral Home, 55 East Main Street, Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 am on Wednesday, September 20 at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel, Poughkeepsie.
