Obituary of Linda M. Sansone

Linda M. Sansone Linda M. Sansone, a resident of the Town of Wappinger and formerly of Fishkill, entered into rest Friday, April 27, 2007 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 79. Daughter of the late Lougi and Caroline Lombard DeAngelo, she was born October 23, 1927 in Italy. She attended and graduated from Yonkers High School. On November 24, 1946, she married Charles A. Sansone at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Yonkers. Mr. Sansone preceded her in death on April 13, 1985. Linda was a parishioner of St. Mary Mother of the Church, Fishkill and enjoyed her time with the Senior Citizens Club of Fishkill. Linda is survived by her six sons, Carl Sansone of Fishkill, Anthony Sansone of Fishkill, Louis Sansone of Fishkill, Charles Sansone of Plattekill, Frank Sansone of Wappingers Falls, and Gino Sansone of Beacon; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Laura Sansone. Family will receive their friends on Monday, April 30, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Straub Funeral Home, 55 East Mains Street, Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am on Tuesday, May 1 at St. Mary Mother of the Church, Jackson Street, Fishkill. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Putnam Valley.
